Prototyping with Teammates
My teammates thought of doing several prototypes, more specifically the scenarios that the players will encounter. We wanted to see how well we could perform tasks with the help of chopsticks, and recorded how it went. We could then use the methods that we used in the prototypes for our game.
Due to my absence, I was unable to do the prototypes, but I video called them so that I could see and make suggestions.
First Task: Putting toothpaste onto Toothbrush.
Since Dylan was less experienced with using chopsticks to see if he could complete the task.
Ended in a mess, but he completed the task

Task 2 - Picking up the phone. Ed had the courtesy of doing this task with 2 chopsticks

3rd Task - Writing with a pen. Dylan held 2, whilst Ed held 1.
At first, we used a bullet ballpoint pen, meaning they had to press the top before using.

We then switched over to a sharpie pen, which required less strength to make the writing visible, but the friction caused the paper to move around

Giving the task over to our lecturer Adam Proctor
Going through the prototypes enabled us to think about the ways that the tasks will be performed during gameplay. Although some are difficult to do, it brings in the humour a bit, as well as being enjoyable.
