I presented my 3 game ideas to peers to see what game they would want to see get developed/ would want to work in

Started off with Chopstick.

Brief bullet points about the game - Main Mechanic, Genre, How I got the idea, What Controls I would want the payers to have.

Showing 2  Mood Boards of chopsticks - one with the different types of chopsticks and how to hold them. The other with different games that I have taken inspiration from. Explaining what sort of style I want to achieve

Sketches of how I want the game to look. One page containing the layout of the screen, the others with different scenarios that players will encounter.

Ending the idea with 2 videos of visual prototypes. One doing everyday things, the other holding and writing with chopsticks

For the other ideas, I repeated the same layout:

- Brief Bullet points

- Mood Board

- Sketches

- Video

However, for this idea, I didn't have enough time to produce a prototype since I spent more time in refining others, and is my least favourite idea.

Having 2 mood boards - one with animals and terrain, the other with game inspirations

Finally but not least, Cook Book.

Only had one this time around. Thought that I had enough images/ visuals to show what the game is about.

More sketches - explaining them

Peer/ Self Review

After the presentation, people then choose what their favourite topic would be to work on (putting down an emoji), as well as include any comments to what they what they thought about the ideas.

As seen from the image above, you can see that the Chopstick idea is the most voted - by a large margin. From this, I am going to choose that game idea also because it was my most favoured amongst the others.

Throughout phase 3, the Chopstick game was the one that I placed the most focus on since it is a simple idea - use chopsticks in everyday life - and you can easily come up with any scenario to put the player in since it is supposed to be comedic.

So this concludes Phase 3 and I will move onto Phase 4 where I discuss how I can improve the game idea.
